Harley Davidson VRSCB V-Rod (2005)

The VRSCB model starts with the idea that with 115 horses running directly beneath your saddle, you don’t need much more. So we left the muscle intact and turned the brightness down. You get the same genetics that make a V-Rod® a V-Rod. Aluminum body. 49mm 38° raked fork. 180mm rear tire. The effect of all the shine getting stripped down is an even more raw, aggressive nature. Black calipers. Black brake lines. Black hand controls. Black rear shock springs. And an all-black hydro-formed frame. For 2005, there are five colors and a new, brighter reflector optics headlight to offset all the blackness. The liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 60° V-Twin Revolution® engine with EFI delivers all those stampeding horses. So as the style goes minimalist, the off-the-line power most definitely does not.

BENELLI Motorcycle

Benelli is an Italian motorcycle manufacturing company founded back in 1911, in Pesaro, Italy. Originally Teresa Benelli. Once she became a widow she invested all her money into a company in order for her six sons to get a decent job. At first, the company was called Benelli Garage and handled the repair of cars and motorcycles and could also produce the spare parts needed for those repairs. Because they were very good manufacturers and somewhat engineers, the Benelli boys came up in 1920 with their first engine produced completely in-house. It was a 75 cc single-cylinder two stroke engine and it was adapted to a bicycle frame. In 1921, the company built its first motorcycle, based on the 75 cc engine, which had become by then a 98 cc one. In two years time, Benelli became interested in motorsports and sent Tonino Benelli on the track to ride a racing version of the company's first bike. After a few years, Tonino became successful in motorsports and riding a Benelli 175 won the Italian championship in 1927, 1928, 1930 and 1931. A year after his latest success (1932), Tonino tragically died in a road accident. Just on the break of World War II, the Italian company presented a four-cylinder supercharged 250cc racing bike. They wanted to use this bike in the 1940 season but because of the start of the war their plans failed. Another downside of the second World War was that Benelli seized production until 1949, the same year that Giuseppe Benelli left the company and founded Motobi. Business continued without him and the Benelli company had a few bikes on sale by the time 1951 came. The most notable are the 98cc and 125cc Leoncino models, available in both two-stroke and four-stroke. Almost ten years passed until 1962 when Benelli and Motobi were able to produce around 300 motorcycles and had a total of 550 employees. Benelli underwent some rough time, as all European motorcycle manufacturers did, when Japanese companies entered the European market. Although they were selling a lot of bikes on the American market, by the the late 70s came Benelli halted production. This lasted for a few years, until Giancarlo Selci decided to back up and revive Benelli which proved to be a wrong move, things not working out for Selci. Benelli had to wait until 1995 to meet somebody capable of reviving the brand. This person was Andrea Merloni who helped to the development of the Tornado 900 Tre super sport bike in 2002. At the current moment, the Italian manufacturer is part of the Chinese group Qianjiang.

- Serving Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise, Miami and Broward County
www.floridainjurylawyers.com

- Broward & Miami-Dade County Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Lawyers.
- Auto Accidents, Truck Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents & Pedestrian Accidents.

Many of us know someone who has been injured or killed in an auto, truck, motorcycle or pedestrian accident. An average of 110 people die each day in car crashes on U.S. roadways. Many auto accidents are caused by distracted drivers (talking on the phone or texting), while other accidents may be caused by drunk drivers, road construction or defective vehicles. For many drivers and passengers it is often not a matter of if, but when.

According to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, on average, there are more than 6 million car accidents on the U.S. roads annually. More than 3 million people get injured due to car accidents, with more than 2 million of these injuries being permanent. There are in excess of 40,000 deaths due to car accidents every year.

Such injuries and death often leave the victims and their families devastated and understandably confused about what to do next. Insurance companies often look out for their own best interest, not the policy holder (denied claims, bad faith). The experienced lawyers at Abramowitz, Pomerantz & Coffey will help you understand and navigate the complex details of your auto claim including your insurance policy, personal injury protection (PIP) benefits, and the issues that occur with uninsured or underinsured motorists who do not have sufficient coverage.

At Abramowitz, Pomerantz & Coffey, P.A. we uncover every opportunity for recovery by rolling up our sleeves, conducting thorough research, using the latest technology, out-of-the-box-thinking, and having personal knowledge of case law. We look beyond the initial accident in appropriate cases, to possible manufacturing defects, design defects or the manufacturer’s failure to warn consumers of known dangers with the vehicle.

We handle everything from the simple auto accidents to automotive crashworthiness cases, including but not limited to: auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, work zone accidents, highway design accidents, insurance coverage issues, tire defects, defective airbags, defective seatbelts and SUV rollovers.

BMW Motorrad is the name given to the motorcycle business unit of the German company BMW, part of its Corporate and Brand Development division and its general director is Hendrik von Kuenheim. BMW Motorrad has produced motorcycles since 1923. Revenues for 2007 were €1,228 million.

The company began as an aircraft engine manufacturer in the early 20th century and through World War I. BMW manufactured its first motorcycle, the R32, in 1923. With the R32, BMW introduced the flat-twin boxer engine. BMW Motorrad still uses the flat-twin boxer engine configuration, but now manufactures motorcycles with a variety of engine configurations.

All BMW Motorrad's motorcycle production takes place at its plant in Berlin, Germany, although some engines are manufactured in Austria, China, and Taiwan.

In 2008, BMW introduced the DOHC Boxer HP2 Sport, and entered the serious off-road competition motorcycle market with the release of the BMW G450X motorcycle.

BMW Motorrad motorcycles are categorized into product families, and each family is assigned a different letter prefix. Current families are,

HARLEY DAVIDSON Motorcycle

Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG, formerly HDI[3]) (often abbreviated H-D or Harley) is an American motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the first decade of the 20th century, it was one of two major American manufacturers to survive the Great Depression. Harley-Davidson also survived a media-accelerated negative image of motorcyclists, a period of poor quality control, and competition with Japanese manufacturers.

The company sells heavyweight (over 750 cc) motorcycles designed for cruising on the highway. Harley-Davidson motorcycles (popularly known as "Harleys") have a distinctive design and exhaust note. They are especially noted for the tradition of heavy customization that gave rise to the chopper-style of motorcycle.[4] Except for the modern VRSC model family, current Harley-Davidson motorcycles reflect the styles of classic Harley designs. Harley-Davidson's attempts to establish itself in the light motorcycle market have met with limited success and have largely been abandoned since the 1978 sale of its Italian Aermacchi subsidiary.

Harley-Davidson sustains a loyal brand community which keeps active through clubs, events, and a museum. Licensing of the Harley-Davidson logo accounts for almost 5% of the company's net revenue.

In addition to manufacturing motorcycles under its own name and its licensing and accessories line, Harley-Davidson's operations include Custom Vehicle Operations, which makes special editions of Harley models with larger engines, sport bike manufacturer Buell Motorcycle Company, and Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta, including their Cagiva subsidiary.
